Required Skills and Experience:

• 10 years as Architect/Lead and/or Senior Developer using C# and ASP .Net ,MVC technologies
• 4 consecutive years of experience in designing and implementing .NET core solutions using Azure cloud development methodology
• 5 years of experience in service oriented architecture and Web API
• 4 years of experience in refactoring and migrating on premise applications to cloud
• 2 years of experience in JQuery, KnockoutJS and Bootstrap, Angular, React, Blazer
• 5 years of experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL and stored procedures
• 4 years of experience with SQL server database and SSIS
• 4 years of experience with participating in SCRUM and/or Agile methodologies
• 5 years of experience in working alone on development projects
• 5 years of experience in working in team projects
• 6 years of experience in triage and troubleshooting issues.
• 5 years of experience in demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills
• 3 years of experience writing unit tests

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Project Management PMP credentials, ITIL Framework (or equivalent) is a plus

Job Description:

We’re looking for a .NET programmer to work on our client’s regulatory system, developed based on the Service Oriented Architecture principles, with over 30 services and over 15 UI applications implemented to date. The services are based on MS Windows Communication Foundation 4.0/4.5. The workflow-related components use MS Windows Workflow Foundation 3.5/4.0. Front-end composite web applications (UI) developed utilizing MVVM approach applied to the MS MVC Framework 4.0/5.0 (Razor engine) with JQuery and KnockoutJS.

Programmer is responsible to rewrite/re-architect modules to add new functionalities and perform technology upgrade to make it cloud ready. He/She is responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of application modules. Programmers typically are involved in one or more agile (SCRUM) sprints and report to the Lead Programmer, Software Architect, or the Application Manager.

Our client has multiple application environments for development, deployment, and testing of the system (Development, QA, Pre-Production, and Production). The development team members work with other ODI employees and contractors to ensure proper progression of the delivered product through each of these environments. The development team members also work with the database team to ensure that related database scripts and database schema changes are implemented correctly and timely.

Each environment consists of multiple web/application servers (currently Windows/IIS) in a web farm configuration. All development is performed utilizing standard development environment (Visual Studio 15 or later) and Oracle PL/SQL developer.
