.Net Developer

The Application Developer will develop and implement strategies and solutions by partnering with sales, operations and clients.The Application Developer will design and develop new or update existing client applications and services using the latest technologies and methodologies.The Application Developer will assess and recommend best technical approach to be used for development projects.

Objectives:

• Works with internal and external business partners to establish detailed solutions and supporting project plans.
• Provides expertise on architecture, platforms, practices and procedures to manage both internal and client facing applications.
• Interfaces with other IT resources, Client Service Manager(s), Operations and Sales; to coordinate activities and report progress in support of company goals and objectives.
• Adheres to change management processes to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements and deployments.
• Reviews and proposes new technologies and standards for software and application deployment.
• Works to address and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborates with system owners, business users and quality assurance in the testing of new software programs and applications
• Troubleshoots existing applications and systems
• Monitors the use of applications to improve design and analysis existing effectiveness and efficiency.Drives the development of strategies for improving or leveraging these systems to provide additional value
• Responsible for upgrade strategies with application and software releases
• Estimates effort and develops project schedules for development projects, maintenance and support
• Provides technical leadership to other developers and consultants
• Reviews software under consideration for purchase and gives advise based on findings
• Assist with other special projects, as requested.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience with the following:
• Programming Languages: C# / .NET
• Technologies/Tools: ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Entity Framework, Visual Studio
• Database: SQL Server
