Serious Applicants Only. This position is not with Wellthy, it is with a private family. Hello, I am a care team member with Wellthy Inc. One of my clients desires a full time, long term Nanny. Caregiver should have prior child care experience and be engaging and warm. Drivers license is a plus, but not essential. Must be able to anticipate client's needs. Two references and a free background check are required prior to hire. *COVID19 vaccination may be required (proof of vaccination may be required).

HOURS:
30 guaranteed hours per week, though will consider up to 40 hours per week for the right candidate. Additional weekend and evening hours available on occasion.
**The family has some flexibility and will work with the right candidate to determine the exact weekly schedule.**
CARE:
Care for 2 children, age 1 year, and age 4 years old.
Ensure the health and safety of the children.
Maintain CPR training, and complete first-aid training, specifically for managing severe food allergies (We will pay for a class if you need to renew your CPR certification and organize classes or materials related to allergy education. Your time spent in classes and for education will be paid).
Planning age-appropriate activities and engagement for the kids. This includes spending ample time outside at parks, visiting museums, arranging playdates, planning and preparing materials for arts and crafts, games and device-free activities for rainy days.
Taking the kids to scheduled classes or activities, like dance and music classes. We welcome our caregiver to suggest new classes or activities to work with Mom to create a weekly schedule.
Preparing, feeding and cleaning up meals, snacks, and bottles for both children.
Keeping both children on their individual schedules. For the youngest, this will include primarily naps and bottles/meals. For the oldest, this will be activities, school, snacks, meals, etc.
Housekeeping as it relates to the kids. This includes doing laundry at least once per week (and more frequently as needed), cleaning up after each meal and snack, communicating to Mom supplies and grocery needs and/or purchasing items using the credit card we provide you, tidying and organizing toys and games, keeping the diaper bag, stroller and school bag stocked and clean.
Supporting our parenting choices, for example speaking respectfully to the kids/not yelling or using physical force, encouraging kids to be independent, etc. We will frequently discuss strategies for supporting the kids in their development.
Open communication with Mom and Dad (primarily Mom). This includes reporting any and all information relating to time with the kids as well as open, frequent communication about your needs and questions about the position.
RATE:
$26/hour starting, but are open to possible increase for the right candidate.
