Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for a Youth Support Specialist for a client based in Meadville Pa. In need of full time and part time 

Job Title: Youth Support Specialist 
Classification: Full/Part Time

Compensation:

Full Time $11.00-$13.00 Based on Education

Part Time $13.00-$15.00 Based on Education

Job Summary

Counsel and behavior manage socially and emotionally troubled adolescents in a residential therapeutic treatment setting.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with residents.
  • Conduct groups (educational, therapeutic/recreational) with residents in care.
  • Maintain safety by using behavior management techniques according to policy.
  • Document resident’s day to day routines and behaviors in progress notes.
  • Manage resident’s medication according to residential policy and procedure.
  • Assist with reports, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
  • Attend treatment reviews and team meetings on residents.
  • One-on-one supervision with immediate supervisor biweekly.
  • Coordinate unit day to day routines for residents and follow clinical schedule.
  • Act as a positive role model to youth in care by maintaining a professional demeanor and ethical behavior at all times.
  • Provide verbal and/or written documentation at court hearings.
  • Maintain annual in-service training hours as required by personnel policy.
  • Assure Client/Staff ratio is maintained.
