- W2 Contract, 6 Months (Likely Extension)
- This position can work onsite or remotely. With that said, candidates must be local to the Chicagoland area to consider site walkdowns.
- The schedule for this position is 7am - 3pm (CST).
Overview
The Work Planner will be joining a team of 9-12 engineering professionals and would support all single-phase requests from releasing connections to designs. On a week-to-week basis, the Work Planner is responsible for the following:
- Speaking with customers to set up site meets to properly determine the customer needs and driving the execution of the need from designing the construction build
- Creating a construction pouch to be delivered to construction, ensuring the job is appropriately scheduled and walking the job through the schedule
- Networking with internal resources to confirm all requirements are met with all involved departments
- Effectively communicating with the customer throughout the life of the job and releasing the final connection and meter and closing out the service request
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands on engineering experience
- Knowledge of Asset Suite 8 for the purposes of creating work orders and job specifications
- Experience using TED/CEGIS for creating engineering designs
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer, even to deliver unfavorable news.

- Project management skills experience.
