Voice Instructor

We are searching for a driven, ambitious, rigorous, and energetic voice coach to join our awesome team! As one of our voice coaches, you will prepare lessons for students of all ages and levels. Duties include teaching techniques, style, and providing advice on voice protection and a practice regimen tailored to each student. You should have knowledge of several genres and be able to develop engaging lessons.
 

To be successful as a vocal coach, you should be comfortable working with singers of different ages skill levels. Our students range from the ages of four (4) to eighty-two (82). 

To be a great fit with our team, we hope that you are an energetic and optimistic person that LOVES sharing his/her knowledge, skills, and experience with those that are eager to learn.
 

• Performing Vocal Assessments during students' first session.
• Guiding students through lessons using a range of vocal techniques and exercises.
• Teaching a variety of warm-up exercises.
• Teaching students how to sing acapella or with a music accompaniment (ability to teach guitar or piano is a plus, as students enjoy 1hr combination lessons, allowing them to improve vocals while also learning how to accompany themselves)
• Advising students on how best to preserve their voices.
• Establishing professional, long-lasting relationships with students.

• We ask that our instructors have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. A graduate degree in Music is considered a plus.
• Singing, songwriting, and stage performance experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills.
• The ability to motivate students when required.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• A personable manner and a high degree of professionalism.
• Driven and disciplined.
• Knowledge of music theory is required.
