Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and BA
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch by creating, site maps, wireframes, visual design, prototypes, and key UX documentation.
- Consolidate and translate research findings, team input, client needs/strategy and brand characteristics into authentic and usable interface solutions.
- Produce estimates that are accurate, consistent, and achievable, that lead to the delivery of successful outcomes
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
Requirements
- 8+ years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Full-stack developer with a focus on web development and relevant tech
- Solid fundamentals of web development including HTML5, CSS
- Experience with React or Angular a must
- Additional experience with any other language is a plus; Vue.js/Node.js/etc…
- iOS or Android development skills are a huge plus (or cross-platform development)
- Experience with GraphQL a plus
- Experience with GIT in a team environment
- Min 6 years of experience
