Job Description:

As the Technical Artist in a small tight-knit development team, you will be responsible for bringing amazing art to life in the game. Everyone on the team has a massive impact on the game, but your twin superpowers of art and technical prowess will combine to directly influence the way the game looks and feels.  Do you like to SHADER?  Do you love it when your coworkers say “How did you do that?! That looks INSANE!”  Come.  Make us say those things.

Responsibilities

  • Help us make the most awesome looking game by...
    • Creating 2D and 3D support assets
    • Creating custom shaders
    • Creating siiick-looking animations and VFX
  • Mastermind the best pipeline to create and integrate art assets and continue to maintain and improve the pipeline
  • Be the master of all game assets and figure out the best way to organize and optimize them


Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Unity
  • Expert in modeling and art tools (Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Experience in a full digital art content creation pipeline (high and low-poly modeling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, animation)
  • Able to communicate with engineers AND artists effectively
  • Good artistic skills (proportion, color, composition)
  • Professional experience in team environment

  • Ability to Freestyle Rap?!?!
