Job Title: Tableau Developer/Analyst

Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer/Analyst to join their team and leverage data visualization skills to transform complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using Tableau, enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions. This role requires a keen analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to deliver high-quality dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough data validation and testing.
Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring quick loading times and user-friendly interfaces.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing insights to support decision-making.
Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
Stay up-to-date with Tableau features and best practices, incorporating new techniques into the development process.
Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities and best practices.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Tableau, including advanced features like calculated fields, parameters, and actions.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Ability to analyze complex datasets and convey findings through visual representation.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist) is preferred.
