Job Duties:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications
Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Qualifications:
Experience Requirements: Red Hat Experience - Security+ Certification - OpenStack - System Admin Experience
Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent
Wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions
Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
Desired Requirements: Strong technical skills (any or many of the following: VM, Hypervisor, scripting, Linux, Windows, COTS, configuration management, ClearCase, GIT, Chef, Systems Administration) and work well in a team environment: Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is required.
