We’ll want you to anticipate and identify trends and issues and institute best practices to increase customer satisfaction.  You’ll work independently establish relationships with US and Canadian vendor locations!

 

Here’s what we need:

  • A bachelor’s degree – supply chain management would be ideal, but not mandatory
  • Vendor management skills in consumer goods, especially with 3PL companies
  • Ability to drill down and synthesize data analytics, and
  • D365, Power BI and Google Suite will make you stand out from the crowd!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Oversee daily activity of third party warehouses to proactively address delivery exceptions and address customer facing compliance issues with a high level of accuracy
  • Analyze 3PL processes, supplier information, rates, and documents in order to formulate plans and develop decision making strategies
  • Evaluate and maintain reports and tracking documents around third party warehouse activities including but not limited to inventory, forecasting, open orders, returns, transportation, and compliance
  • Assist in RFI/RFP process for new 3PL vendors
  • Process invoices for multiple third party facilities and maintain detailed records for reference and analysis.
  • Lead weekly forecast calls with multiple 3PLs and Sales Operations to gather information, answer questions and provide feedback
  • Create and maintain Power BI Dashboards to include analysis and reporting on inventory, sales orders, inbound containers, as well as other metrics across the 3PL lifecycle as well as any useful information to share across the organization 
  • Provide feedback to 3PL teams and Management around 3PL performance of established KPI’s
  • Facilitate consistent, productive communication with third party warehouse personnel, Customer Care, Compliance, Inventory Control, Finance, and other departments across the organization
  • Implement innovative operational and technical solutions to improve efficiency, optimize productivity, and achieve best practices
  • Engage with Customer Care in all aspects of the customer order process from receipt to delivery and reverse logistics
  • Review and understand customer requirements to achieve customer satisfaction, reduce chargebacks, and improve operational accuracy
  • Develop a multi-vendor scorecard to be shared both internally and externally with partners
  • Challenge existing processes  to include suggesting more efficient or alternative methods to achieve objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand or processes based on shifts in the global supply chain and/or business demands

QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 6+ years working knowledge of the consumer goods industry
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent Vendor Management Skills
  • Advanced Windows based software skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Google Docs and G Suite
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI recommended
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and change directions quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Some travel required
