- Generating and coordinating structural substantiation reports and associated analyses in support of interior modification STCs for large transport category aircraft (14 CFR Part 25)?
- Reviewing analysis and interfaces with outside service suppliers of structural analysis reports and test plans?
- Supporting analysis and structural substantiation needs related to the maintenance business enterprise for 14 CFR Part 23 executive aircraft?
- Working with the Certification organization in support of STC project structural certification objectives?
- Interfacing with structural, mechanical systems, interior, avionics and electrical design engineers to ensure certifiable designs for structural aspects and generates the associated substantiating analysis and/or testing required?

- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience working in aircraft completions industry on transport category aircraft and the associated Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification of all associated aircraft installation designs, including but not limited to Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) work, structural substantiation analysis and report development, and aircraft modification designs under14 CFR Part 25 STC projects.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States.
- Experience with classical hand-analysis techniques.
- Experience in air frame structural analysis.
- Proficient in the following software:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- MathCAD
- NASTRAN/FEMAP
- AutoCAD (basic user skill)
- SolidWorks (basic user skill)
- Understanding of finite element modeling and analysis techniques.
- Ability to interpret design drawings of various aircraft modifications and identify design changes required to ensure that sound load paths and structural integrity are maintained.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skill.
