Senior Java Engineer will be developing, maintaining, optimizing and troubleshooting a multi-layered distributed enterprise system. The candidate will be working with Search Subject Matter Experts and have the opportunity to acquire an enterprise hand-on experience with Solr7, SolrCloud, ELK Stack, Big Data, Natural Language Processing, Weblogic, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Handless WCM, ReactJs, Backbone.js, JavaScript, Drupal, DevSecOps using (Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab, NPM, OWASP, Docker, Nexus, Ansible and Zabbix) and many other state of the COTS and open source frameworks.
Skills Required:
Hand on experience developing Restful web services using Spring Framework, JAX-RS or Jerssey.
Strong Java experience including hands on experience with XML parsing, XML processing and XSLT transformation.
Previous experience or interest to develop Single Page Application (SPA) using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript framework such as React.js, Angular.js or Backbone.js
Some experience installing, configuring and monitoring application servers such as WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly or Tomcat in a high availability environment.
Experience with Behavior-driven development or Test-driven development. Test automation and performance testing
Experience with agile software development lifecycle methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
Some working experience in a fast-paced DevOps environment using Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible and Nexus
7+ years of related experience.
Education:
MS/MA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline preferred.
