Hire EIQ is working with a high-profile data-driven health system in the Chicago area to identify individuals to join their growing cybersecurity team. This position is crucial to building an advanced team which will help the organization navigate during a time of organizational growth. You will have direct input into the strategy, tools and overall program.
This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible with temporary Covid-19 work from home protocol. This role has on-call duties for production problems or investigating incidents during off hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays.
Role:
- Design, deploy, and manage ServiceNow Discovery solutions for both on premise and cloud resources.
- Maintain IT software and hardware asset tracking data in ServiceNow.
- Design, implement, and manage asset, vulnerability, and Discovery integrations with other systems.
- Develop, document, implement, maintain, and support asset and Discovery governance policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
- Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted, by working with stakeholders and CI data owners to ensure the quality of the CMDB data is maintained and all CI are up-to-date.
- Develop scripts, workflows, and flows on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks and integrations for the security and cybersecurity teams.
- Provide software configuration and customization including, but not limited to, screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
Additionally:
- Drive initiatives to identify, optimize, and automate manual IT processes related to security, access administration, and cybersecurity.
- Help perform day-to-day support and maintenance of workflows (in conjunction with the ServiceNow admin team and security functional areas).
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of Assets and CI for the enterprise (in conjunction with the ServiceNow admin team, systems support, application, and technical support teams).
- Build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes within HIT security functional areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop technical, training, testing, project management and operational documentation as required.
- Provide status report/update on assigned projects and tasks, and as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or Liberal Arts is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum six years of experience across Information Technology, Cloud Services, and Security is required with at least 4 years of experience in IT Asset Management and Configuration Management, preferably using ServiceNow.
- Professional-level advanced technical or security certification required. Relevant ServiceNow certification a plus.
- 3-years hand-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow with a focus on IT Service Management. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.
- Experience developing, documenting, and implementing Asset Management and Configuration Management processes, policies, controls, and procedures.
- Experience integrating asset information, including vulnerability data (e.g., outputs from Tenable Nessus or Qualys), with ServiceNow.
- Excellent knowledge of security domains and cybersecurity tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of application architectures. Experience mapping large and complex applications. Experience mapping cloud resources to applications.
- Proficient with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, including ODBC, REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSL, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with proven ability to interact skillfully with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytic, problem solving, negotiation, issue resolution, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple activities.
