Position Summary
Posting Note: The Sr. Grants Administrator is a critical position in this high-volume, transparent and growing organization focused on philanthropy to support the mission of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Under the supervision of the Director of Foundation Development, the Sr. Grants Administrator is responsible to conduct the full range of activity required to prospect, prepare, develop, submit and manage grant proposals to solicit Foundations (government/corporations/private/family). S/he works closely with fundraising staff to manage an efficient and effective production process to achieve a growing and multi-million dollar annual revenue goal. S/he works closely with hospital, program, clinical, Finance, and Foundation staff and senior leaders to complete and ensure accurate financial reporting, programmatic progress and outcomes, and procedural compliance on all foundation-related grants and solicitations. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills transferable across all levels of the organization and a familiarity with planning and executing meetings and group discussions.
The Development Officer I identifies, develops, broadens, and maximizes philanthropic support from individual and business prospects to increase awareness and support of hospital programs, initiatives and goals through philanthropic giving.
