Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or other, using GitOps
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and DevOps technologies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience, with at least 3 years specifically in AWS
- Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform or CDK
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
- Understanding of network security, IAM, and compliance in the cloud
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or similar certification
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch or similar observability tools
- Understanding of data backup and recovery in AWS
- Familiarity with serverless computing
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
