Job Compensation

$73,000-$81,000 based on education, experience, and certifications.

Your Impact Here at MCC

  • Individual Treatment
  • Upper School: This includes working with a caseload of 11 students who receive 2 45-minute sessions a week.
  • Case management of assigned students, including required documentation. Documentation consists of, but is not confined to, individual and group attendance, individual treatment notes, IEP documentation, supplementary documentation pertaining to communication assessments, semi-annual progress reports; and when requested, student transition surveys and/or discharge reports.
  • Consult with parents, teachers, therapists, and other health care professionals to discuss strategies, review treatment plans and activities to facilitate the students’ optimal functioning in home, school, social, and play environments.
  • Develop and conduct appropriate presentations/staff in-services to enhance staff’s professional development.
  • Conduct annual assessments and identification/formulation of goals for students on caseload.
  • Supervise graduate-level student clinicians for their fieldwork placement, after working as a Staff SLP after a minimum of 3 years post clinical fellow year.
  • Participate in CSE/IEP meetings for all students on caseload, and participate in hearings (e.g., in person, affidavit) for students on caseload, if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Current New York State Speech Therapy License
  • ASHA Certified preferred and meeting Ethical Standards
  • TSSLD Certified preferred
  • Strong CF candidates will be considered
