Job Type

Part Time/Fee for Service Speech Language Pathologist for in-home case

 

Job Hours

2 days per week for 30 minutes Monday through Thursday between 7:30pm and 8:00pm; Saturday/Sunday after 1pm (You choose day and time) 

 

Job Location

Ozone Park, NY

 

Job Compensation

$80-$90 per 45 min session, $100-$110 per hr. based on education, experience, and certifications. 

Your Impact Here at MBC

  • Provide speech-language therapy to clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other related developmental disabilities ranging from 5 to 21
  • Collaborate with client’s school and home team members
  • Complete weekly session notes, develop annual goals, and write semiannual progress reports
  • Engage and use Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) holds/transport or disengagement tactics for students during behavioral episodes. This may mean physically intervening after being trained thoroughly, to help deescalate children when they become a danger to themselves or others
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Current New York State Speech Therapy License
  • ASHA Certified preferred
  • TSSLD Certified preferred
  • Strong CF candidates will be considered
