Brain Balance Achievement Centers seeks a dynamic Sensory Motor Coach to lead and drive each student in our Sensory Motor room. This part-time position requires a motivated individual who will guide and assist children through various activities that will stimulate one of the two specific hemispheres of the brain. Our unique Brain Balance program deals directly with children who Behavioral, Academic, Sensory Processing, Social, and Developmental, issues. This is an ideal and rewarding position for those who enjoy working with children and who relish in watching children succeed. Each child is in the center 3 times per week for 1 hour of activities working with a coach one on one.

Requirements, Skills, and Experience:

• Experience doing physical activities with school-aged children a plus
• Team player
• Outgoing and confident personality
• Ability to initiate
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to motivate children
• Patient toward children with special needs

• Outgoing and engaging through virtual sessions (Some sessions are online)
• Creative
• Energetic
• Excellent organization skills
• Flexible personality

• Background in teaching and physical training a plus (example: athletic coach)

• Basic knowledge of computers usage and MS Word

Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Approx. 9 AM - 7:30 PM
(Based of our session schedule)

Tuesdays: On occasion to perform Student Assessments

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

We are following Pennsylvania state Covid-19 protocol from disinfecting throughout the day, temperature checks, hand washing, and distancing for staff and children. Masks Required. Parents remain outside.
