Spanish Teacher

Do you have a passion and joy to teach Spanish to others?  Is it fun to you to help others improve their communication in Spanish?  We are searching for passionate and dependable Spanish Teachers to join our team. We believe that building and supporting communities of Spanish language learners is a lot of fun and is very rewarding.  We'll handle the lesson plans and logistics. We need you to lead one-hour long, weekly learning activities that will cause our communities of language learners to grow!  Using our simple, online platform, you'll lead group Spanish lessons (virtually) to adult students across the nation.

To be successful as a Spanish Teacher, you should be passionate about the Spanish language and culture. Outstanding Spanish Teachers are energetic and able to inspire passion for the language in their students.  Our teachers lead conversational Spanish language courses online using our proprietary (and simple) platform to students across the nation.  We are looking for unique, outstanding Spanish teachers who are not only passionate and knowledgeable about the Spanish language and culture, but also energetic and able to inspire a passion for learning in their students.

• Lead weekly, one-hour online Spanish classes using our high quality curriculum. 
• Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.
• Teach writing and Spanish composition classes.
• Motivate students to participate in learning.
• Monitor students progress by providing feedback after each class session.
• Foster community with your cohort of students.
• Provide suggestions for further learning and schedule intervention sessions with struggling students.
• Teach students about Spanish culture, which may include festivals, traditional food and dress, and social conventions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Education are a plus.
• Proven advanced written and verbal proficiency in Spanish.
• Personal experience with Spanish culture.
• A teaching certificate or license may be required.
• Proficiency with personal computers.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Excellent time management.
• Well-organized and able to teach during scheduled class periods.
• Willingness to follow our curriculum and be a team player.
• Fun, outgoing personality!
