LINQM needs multiple Spanish/English Interpreters for our client.
- Live interpretation services in English and Spanish. Spanish speakers will be primarily from Costa Rica. Irvine-based trainers will speak English (some as their 2nd language).
- Translation services will support training of sewing operations for medical devices.
- Break and lunch periods will follow the training room schedule. This provides for two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break.
- Normal work hours will be 4:30 am to 2 pm, Monday - Friday. Some Saturday support may be necessary, but not likely.
- Location: Services will be provided onsite at Edwards Lifesciences’ Irvine California facilities known as Redhill and Kettering.
- Interpretation will take place primarily in the HVC Training Room and in Edwards’ cleanrooms.
- In these rooms, special gowning and cleanliness rules apply and food and drink are not allowed.
Skills:
- Good English/Spanish communication is required.
- Does not need to be a certified interpreter but previous interpretation/translation experience is highly preferred.
- Must have a positive attitude
- Assignment may extend but is not expected to convert to FTE
Education:
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree required. ~ 3 years experience live interpreting in a professional setting
