Solar Photovoltaic Installer

US GREEN Energy Technologies is extremely excited for the summer of 2019 and are actively recruiting for several installation positions here in San Diego County. Below is a description of each role and their responsibilities.

General Installation Employee Expectations:

• Ability to lift and transport a minimum of 60 lbs
• Travel and overnight stay may be required
• OVERTIME will be offered on select Residential and commercial projects
• Weekdays and select weekend availability
• Knowledge, understanding, and strict adherence to ALL OSHA safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to install all variations of solar installs: Roof mounts, ground mounts, carports, shade structures

Lead solar installer:

Position Description/Requirements:

• This position can be required to complete all duties of Roof Lead and Solar Installer positions in addition to:
• Fulfill all the on-site leadership roles: delegating, observing, training, and developing all other team members
• Lead daily on-site safety meetings, review OSHA standards at the start of the job, pre-site walk on the first day to determine obstacles, safety hazards, and develop efficiency standards to optimize the installation timeline
• Primary on all AC related components
• Primary on all site measures and system repairs/troubleshooting
• Final system checklist completion and repairs/improvements

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-3 years of solar electrical experience
• 1 year of team leadership experience
• Commercial solar experience is preferred
