Overview:
Responsible for updating and redesigning TacSense software platform, according to specification. Application is built on the Qt Creator Platform. Updates include data communication format, connection handling, UI updates, system architecture redesign, and real-time signal processing.
Position is full-time contractor for three months from September to November.
Requirements:
Must be ready to start by first week of September 2019. Demonstrated experience with application development is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Update software according to specification
• Test for and remove software bugs
• Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
• Create flowcharts and user guides for program documentation
• Develop UI and API for software
Experience and Skills:
• Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
• Knowledge of C++
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of communication protocols is a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Must arrange transport to office in Woodland
