Job Description
The Network Automation (NA) Engineer is responsible for developing the automation of network device and network service configurations, improving workflow and quality. The NA Engineer works with an established team of experienced network configuration engineers to develop automation code and content. The NA Engineer is also responsible for producing technical documentation and providing support for the automation platform. The NA Engineer requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects. The NA Engineer is driven to consistently and iteratively deliver value while maintaining a strong focus on quality. The NA Engineer works in a process-driven environment, and also looks to evolve as transformational opportunities appear.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) or equivalent experience in the field of computer science or information systems. Proven/demonstrable coding experience with a modern scripting language. Ability to enable integration between applications using APIs. Ability to develop code using common data structures, protocols, encoding, and templating systems. The familiarity of Agile and DevOps frameworks and methodologies. Proven/demonstrable coding experience in Python.
