As a Software Test Automation Engineer at Ample, you will help tackle sophisticated challenges involving electric vehicles, robotics, and smart battery technology, by combining creative tech design with fast iteration. As an Ample Software Engineer, you will work on problems that will require some thoughtful creativity. Your work will have a high impact and be deployed into production systems. You are goal-oriented and operate with vitality.
You will build test automation infrastructure with hardware in the loop spanning different use cases and setups. You'll supervise all aspects of testing and ensure the quality of various components of our system.
Responsibilities:
Work with developers to craft, develop, and identify requirements for test automation framework for testing with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL)
Lead and maintain various test setups
Build and maintain functional automated test suites
Set up the infrastructure to run tests in CI/CD
Guide software developers to build meaningful test cases
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, ECE or related subject area
Proficient in Python, C, and C++
Experienced with Linux and embedded systems
Working understanding of Continuous Integration environments
Experience with GitHub actions, Robot Framework, Linaro LAVA, and Jenkins is a plus
