Software Developer - Microsoft Azure
We are looking for a seasoned software developer that will work with our software development team to support our core solutions for Microsoft Azure products. The Software Development/Agile team meets weekly to review and define the weekly sprint. The SD team will work together to support their work assignment and completion of each sprint. Most of the sprint work can be done remotely.
This position is remote and prefer the candidate is located in the Tallahassee, FL area.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in software design, testing and implementation of new product features.
* Assist in design, code reviews and retrospectives.
* Provide technical analysis and work effort estimate for user stories.
* Design, code and unit test user stories to meet acceptance criteria.
* Plan, estimate and coordinate with team to prioritize work for upcoming sprints.
* Ensure all committed sprint user stories are completed and meet acceptance criteria.
* Effectively communicate with customers and product stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Experience working with .Net or C#.
* Experience with Agile/Sprint methods.
* Experience with Azure, Microsoft tools and XAML based Windows Applications (WPF/UWP).
* Must have at least 6 years of application development experience in these areas.
* Must be motivated, disciplined and exhibit a willingness to learn.
* Must be able to obtain security clearances.
* Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident with green card status.
