Combi Packaging, located in North Canton, is looking for an experienced individual to add to the Shipping and Receiving Department. The Shipper/Receiver helps manage incoming and outgoing company equipment and parts necessary to manufacturing of products.
This opening is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and packages equipment and orders to be shipped which may include building shipping crates using handheld power tools
- Records proper documentation, Sample Receiver Forms and tracks process through all stages
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Collaborate with a team as well as minimum supervision to meet manufacturing schedule.
- Utilizes forklifts to safely and properly move equipment and performs daily inspections
- Organize all Customer Samples by location and staging through each stage of process
- Confirm shipping label with correct Customer and samples
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Detail Oriented
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to read/use a tape measure
- Experience using power tools (drill, impact gun, miter saw, chain saw)
