Manage SharePoint online sites and its overall features.

Build workflows and develop apps using MS Power Apps and Power Automate

A SharePoint Administrator provides support and guidance for TDOT SharePoint users, ensures SharePoint functionality, and addresses and resolves any issues with the software performance
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage SharePoint Online sites and its overall features.
- Build and updates workflows using SharePoint Designer.
- Develop and maintain apps using Microsoft Power Apps
- Build workflows and business process automation using Power Automate.
- Migrate and troubleshoot migration issues using ShareGate migration tool.
- Utilize SharePoint Online Out of the Box (OOB) Web Parts
- Execute PowerShell commands and develop PowerShell scripts to manage SharePoint Online.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Gathers SharePoint Online operational requirements from stakeholders.
- Holds training and informational sessions to teach employees how to use SharePoint.
- Document strategy and provides knowledge transfer on key SharePoint Online engineering concepts and principals to key stakeholders.
- Consults with management to devise the most useful ways to apply SharePoint to a business’s goals.
- Attends IT conferences to learn about new features around M365 products.
- Addresses questions or concerns from business owners or directors regarding the function of the software.
- Provides technical support for SharePoint users.
- Reports to company management with updates and information about SharePoint use.
- Analyzes daily user activity on SharePoint.
- Troubleshoots issues promptly.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with SharePoint Online
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Possesses knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security.
- Can handle confidential and sensitive company information responsibly.
- Possesses ability to think creatively to devise customizations and uses for SharePoint.
- Exhibits knowledge of software development industry.
- Is familiar with website layouts and html.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- Works well with a team.
- Can translate technical jargon into layman’s terms for explanatory purposes.
- Demonstrates ability to work and conduct research independently.
