Senior Web Application Developer

Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for a Senior Web Application Developer. The position develops and maintains assigned information systems to ensure efficient systems integration and operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, deploys, and supports new and enhance existing database-driven websites and internal business applications
• Designs database structures to support the web applications, create stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions
• Follows established coding and documentation standards
• Leads the design and implementation of certain projects as needed and serves as resource for other developers
• Develops and maintains website content management systems
• Performs data analysis and generates reports
• Develops a variety of integration techniques
• Designs and suggests new coding standards and optimum methods of problem solving

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field and three (3) years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming; or bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience
