Senior Software Engineer - Unity Client

Hey! How’s it going? Do you like working in Unity? Do you like small companies with big dreams? FANCY THAT~ We need to find our Unity chef!

As our very first client engineer, you’ll be defining our client engineering strategy WHILST defining a company (whilst joining us on boba runs).
 

Responsibilities

• Discover how we use Unity and help define how we use it going forward
• Architect lots of client systems and then teach us how to use them, oh wise one
• Be a primary point of contact with the Unity devs
• Write tools and evaluate off the shelf software to support client needs
• Identify and correct platform-specific client issues, including performance

Requirements

• Awesome technical and personal communication
• Lots of Unity experience and excitement for using Unity
• Ability to recognize when to prototype and when to pivot
• Experience with mobile client-server apps
• Highly responsive towards and supportive of team members

Pluses

• Experience with content creation tools
• Familiarity with Git
• Rendering and gameplay experience
• Experience with the latest .NET tech

We appreciate companies that can make remote work successful, but we prefer the serendipity and organic collaboration of being co-located in an office. Due to the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, we are temporarily working from home.
