Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a secure and performant set of backend services
• Enable rapid feature development without cutting quality
• Connect internal backend services to external services such as payment verification and analytics

Requirements

• Awesome technical and personal communication
• Highly responsive towards and supportive of team members
• Experience building applications in AWS
• Experience building services in .NET Core
• Experience configuring and using observability tools
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Ability to recognize security flaws

Pluses

• Experience with serverless .NET applications on AWS
• Experience with BI and analytics
• Game programming experience
• Familiarity with Git

Second Dinner is located in sunny Orange County, CA. We are a small studio that believes in moving fast and giving everyone a feeling of ownership. People who join us will have a massive impact on both the game and the company.

We appreciate companies that can make remote work successful, but we prefer the serendipity and organic collaboration of being co-located in an office. Due to the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, we are temporarily working from home.
