 DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
 

The SEO team at BOLD is responsible for driving organic traffic to our domains. In this role, you'll be working closely with the rest of the team and other departments to implement SEO best practices.
 

POSITION SUMMARY
 

The candidate should have a strong understanding of Web 2.0 properties and best practices for major search engines.  You will be helping create KPIs and working with the product, engineering, and the rest of the SEO team to ensure best practices.  If you have solid SEO technical skills, great analytical skills and can collaborate in a team environment, apply today. 
 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Lead our expanding SEO team
  • Manage our core web properties in regards to SEO
  • Work closely with global engineering and product teams to ensure consistency in SEO strategy and implementation across multiple global properties
  • Driving commercial success in our target market segments
  • Developing and continually reassessing a set of strategies to drive growth across key segments
  • Work with Engineering Team in India & Puerto Rico to implement complicated SEO Strategies
  • Directly interface with manager to lay out projects and roadmaps, specifically in emerging markets
  • Creation of meaningful KPIs and reports to be delivered daily, weekly and monthly to internal team and executives
  • Manage link building opportunities for new properties and leverage existing properties for SEO

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • 5-6+ years of relevant direct response SEO experience with an international brand with proven growth strategies
  • Previous experience managing an SEO team
  • Strong working knowledge of programming languages and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, RSS and others
  • Experience creating new SEO properties for international markets with a focus on traffic acquisitions
  • Experience in building links and acquiring domains globally
  • Solid analytical skills with key performance metrics is a must, with an understanding of Google Analytics, Google/Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Ability to perform competitive analysis for different markets globally
  • Strong proponent of best practices, semantics, and optimization/performance for the web; thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and updates to ranking algorithms

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Familiarity with structured data e.g. Schema.org’s microformat, Open Graph, and microdata schemas a strong plus
  • Candidate should be easy to work with self-starter who is equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment
  • Previous work experience in the Career and Job Space
