Senior QA Tester

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to establish and implement quality management strategies for statewide systems. This role is responsible for quality planning, root cause analysis, QA metrics, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will have extensive QA experience, strong statistical knowledge, and the ability to align QA practices with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This is a Hybrid Position. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance methodologies and metrics.
• Establish capable QA processes, monitor performance, and drive process improvements.
• Provide strategic QA plans in targeted areas of the organization.
• Ensure QA standards align with industry best practices, government regulations, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuous product quality and compliance.
• Provide QA education and mentoring across project teams.
• Perform effective root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of information systems quality assurance experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with statistical methods and quality standards.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong QA/process knowledge with proven ability to develop quality frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with the MD DHS Provider application.
