Senior Project Estimator

• Prepare full and complete cost estimates for hospitality construction and renovation projects that can range anywhere from $100K to $50MM+.

• Assist in the development of detailed scope of work based on client directions, project conditions and requirements, brand standard requirements, and other budgeting / estimating best-practices.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, historical project comps, and other documentation to perform take-offs and review quantities in order to compile accurate project cost.
• Incorporate an understanding of project schedule as part of budget estimates.
• Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining the accuracy of cost information.
• Actively organize, update, and leverage wide collection of internal company cost and project data as part of ongoing estimating best-practices.
• Work in a fast-paced environment that is cross-functional with Project Management, Design, Purchasing, and Business Development.
• Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project's goals.
• Able to travel up to 25% to attend client meetings and visit job sites, as required.

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably construction or engineering related)
• 5+ years of construction or project management estimating experience, whether as a Contractor, Service Provider, or with an Ownership Group.
• Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to follow up and follow through on assignments and projects.
• Hotel renovations experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, and Word
