Job Description:

The JBKnowledge Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing team and campaigns that drive sales of technology services and products for the construction and insurance industries. We are looking for an experienced manager, leader and content editor-in-chief to lead our team of product marketers, brand coordinators, and event operations managers in dynamic multi-channel marketing campaigns. This position is based out of our Bryan, TX office with up to 10% travel for events.  

 

To apply, you must have: 
 

  • Minimum 5 years B2B marketing experience in technology products or services 
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing or delegating to graphic and web design teams 
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, marketing automation and inbound marketing best practices and optimization 
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Strategic, creative and analytical skills to not only build engaging campaigns, but measure their impact on lead generation and ROI
  • Experience building and monitoring marketing and event budgets
  • Experience planning and executing marketing events such as user conferences, client advisory board meetings, trade show booths, etc.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful approach to getting work done, willingness to wear many hats and pitch in on a small team 

 Preferred experience: 

 

  • Experience editing and managing websites built on WordPress 
  • Proficient in marketing automation, email marketing and CRM software such as Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce, and MailChimp 
  • Google Analytics & Google Adwords Certified 
  • Marketing in the insurance and/or construction industries 
  • Marketing campaigns to drive event attendance, podcast subscribers and SaaS product leads  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing marketing team of three full-time and one part-time intern 
  • Working alongside Creative Director and team of graphic and web designers to design and execute marketing campaigns 
  • Lead execution of multi-channel campaigns through email, website, social, direct mail, and PPC  
  • Lead quarterly planning for marketing strategy per division and report on KPIs weekly and quarterly to Executive team 
  • Hiring and training of new marketing staff as needed 
  • Building and monitoring annual marketing budget  
  • Chief Editor of content produced by team for publishing (Annual Construction Technology Report, Blog Posts, Press Releases, Website Copy etc.) 
  • Primary contact and strategist for public relationships outreach 
  • Coordinate with partner companies to co-promote products and integrations
