Senior Data Analyst (REMOTE)

We have partnered with an innovative technology company in the Seattle, WA area to provide them with a Senior Data Analyst (Remote).

Responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst:

Manage the data team (1 data engineer and 1 data analyst).
Create data pipelines to help facilitate the downstream creation of BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and algorithms to solve interesting business problems for users across.
Apply fundamental machine learning models, advanced analytics techniques, and statistical methods to solve business problems.
Develop a deep understanding of company data logging and data architecture in order to be able to assess the impact of new features.
Translate findings into succinct, actionable business insights, often in coordination with partners who help you tell a holistic story.
Assist in company projects and initiatives including defining requirements, developing test plans. Collaborate with multiple inter-departmental parties to develop project goals and to launch project and program initiatives.
Work with internal partners, business sponsors, product managers, developers, and other teams to develop and review project designs and business requirements.
Research the crypto industry understanding where it's headed and provide suggestions to the team.

Requirements of the Senior Data Analyst:

6+ years of relevant Business or Analytics experience in a technology organization. You have a strong data architecture skill set including a solid grasp of database concepts and data logic.
Extensive experience in BI tools helping the stakeholders play around the data
You have a strong working knowledge of SQL and SQL Developer tools. Including the ability to data-mine, analyze results and make recommendations.
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, quantify, and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance.
You are data-driven. Make excellent decisions by evaluating the data received from multiple channels.
You have a product-focused mindset. You have the passion and ability to contribute to the process of discovering what will delight our users and clients and push forward toward a vision of openness, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making.
Willing to work at a startup with a fast pace environment that requires you to work long and flexible hours.
Team player. You work with confidence and without ego. You have strongly-held, defensible ideas, and advocate for what you believe is right. You are also adept at identifying and evaluating trade-offs, willing to be proven wrong, and quick to walk through fire to support your fellow teammates.
