BASIC FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Sanitation technician is to complete the janitorial and sanitation tasks that is set up per the sanitation manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Sanitation Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Follow sanitation programs such as SOP’s.
• Janitorial tasks such as cleaning all restrooms, breakroom, main hallways, warehouses, compactor areas including outside facility.
• Completing training of chemicals for janitorial and sanitation tasks.
• Complete training on Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Support production and quality team through sanitation efforts and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED

Highschool Diploma/GED

Knowledge of janitorial and sanitation systems.

Ability to manage and prioritize one’s own time consistent with the needs of the business

Excellent communication skills including oral, written and listening.

Ability to think ahead and plan over an extended time period.

PREFERRED

Food manufacturing experience

Janitorial/Sanitation Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour
