Job Description:

Responsible for selling and growing sales in account base representing product categories of supplies and mid-market furniture.  Reviews accounts on a regular basis ensuring we are selling all products to customers. Shows customers new products Helps organize consumer events and distributes promotional and advertising material.  Makes cold calls to build volume.

 

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Strives to spend time with customers between the hours of 9-4 to ensure maximum face time.
  • Organizes calls efficiently by area to maximize efficiency of time and cost.
  • Supports customers by suggesting alternate products based on usage information as needed. Performs monthly account review of sales, GP% of every account looking for positive and negative trends.
  • Promotions explained to customers each month.
  • Makes cold calls to potential customers.
  • Introduces at least 3 new products every quarter.
  • Consumer Shows/ Open Houses- Makes sure base of customers is informed and attends company events.
  • Pricing- Looks at margins by customer and makes changes accordingly to paper and custom contracts every quarter.
  • Turns over leads to Contract Furniture and Machine sales people
