Position

Our client is actively seeking an enthusiastic professional to join their growing sales team. The Inside Sales/Business Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for lead generation activity for target accounts. Their ideal candidate is highly motivated, an excellent communicator, can work well within a cooperative and friendly team as well as being able to work on their own initiative. 


Skills & Responsibilities
  • Work with sales to research target companies, identify key initiatives and target contacts within the organization.

  • Work with sales and marketing to develop a prospecting strategy of key messages and material for different contact roles & responsibilities.

  • Outreach to target contacts via different channels, such as email and LinkedIn.

  • Respond to incoming web leads via the website contact form.

  • Record activity in Hubspot to manage further outreach and to analyze what works.

  • Handle initial responses, qualifying, then passing on leads to the sales team


Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Any advertising or marketing industry experience is beneficial.
  • CRM and computer skills
  • An understanding of digital media channels, marketing technology platforms as well as campaign and creative requirements is preferred.
  • Well organized, task oriented, working methodically to ensure timely delivery to a consistently high standard
  • You are a self-starter with a great attitude able to work independently and autonomously, to both identify problems and recommend solution
  • Executive Communication—Tailor communication to the customer’s needs with authority
  • Fearless - risk disapproval to express a differentiated POV about what is right for our clients  
  • Time management - Qualify time to ensure activity drives outcomes. 
  • Networking—Identify the right customer, partner, and stakeholders and build connections to drive outcomes.


Preferred Experience
  • 3 – 4 years working as a business development / inside sales resource at enterprise software company or software company servicing retail /cpg
  • 3 years or more retail / consumer products industry domain expertise
