Safety/ Claims Specialist

We are looking for a responsible Safety/ Claims Specialist (Licensing optional), who is willing to learn. Our next team member is attentive, honest, sociable and is capable to work with a team.
Qualifications

• Sincere desire and ability to interact, in a professional manner with drivers and other employees
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer knowledge and organization Skills
• Ability to work independently; show initiative and be a self-starter
• Positive, collaborative, can-do attitude
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with defined performance metrics
• Knowledge of transportation industry/previous experience in trucking is a plus

• Claims handling (investigate property damage/subrogation; gather information from sources, such as police reports
• Prepare reports/emails for claim adjusters/examiners
• Complete reports of investigation findings
• Assist attorneys and other specialists when defending the company against other party

• Permits, IRP, IFTA etc
