Job Description:

Our manufacturing company in the Jasper, IN area is looking to hire a Talent Management Manager. The Talent Management Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and maintaining effective programs for workforce development, promotion, succession and retention. This position manages the maintenance and execution of the performance managements system, including annual programs, analytics and new developments. The Talent Management Manager will partner with key HR and Business Leadership on Talent programs in support of business goals and objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Lead the performance and development planning processes end to end including development, planning, training facilitation and analysis metrics.

·         Responsible for Company OnBoarding program from end to end including continuous improvement and innovation of systems linkages, keeping internal partners accountable to standards, facilitation and content.

·         Designs and leads development and training programs for the organization. Plans events in alignment with program goals and works in partnership with VP Talent to align Learning and Development roadmap to the organizational goals.

·         Monitors the direction for Workday Talent modules to ensure alignment of system with organizational processes.

·         Designs and implements Talent Review and Development processes for the organization, including training facilitation.

·         Establishes and analyzes performance metrics for the Talent Organization. Provides input to the VP Talent on improvements and shifts needed based on metrics.

·         Partners closely with HR Leaders to understand the pulse of the organization’s talent in order to align and adjust programs to fit the evolving needs of the organization.

·         Evaluates Talent area for Continuous Improvement and Innovative opportunities. Partners with internal groups to utilize continuous improvement tools to move the organization forward.

·         Keeps up to date on Talent trends in the external market.

·         Coaches managers, leaders and human resources professionals on Talent related topics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Functions

·         Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business related field

·         Experience supporting organization-wide talent management programs covering most aspects of the employment lifecycle.

·         Experience working with HR Information Systems; Workday experience a plus.

·         Experience with reviewing and analyzing metrics to inform business/Talent decisions

·         Strong understanding of Human Resources practices for the talent and employment lifecycle.

·         Excellent communication skills – verbal, written & facilitation

·         Ability to critically assess and simplify processes and controls, leveraging technology and process-improvement mindset

·         Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

·         Ability to deal with ambiguity, learn and adjust moving forward

·         Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in making decisions that are consistent with the culture of the organization
