Dupont is looking for a Reliability Programs Engineer for our Sabine River Works site located in Texas. The successful candidate will facilitate the development of the business / facility maintenance strategy and solves reliability and availability losses through application of reliability technology and tools to enable the plant to meet its business plan and strategy and therefore the customer’s need. Focus on opportunities that have impacted the plant’s measured asset capability and the opportunities identified as "high-risk" in risk assessments, reliability models, etc. Evaluates effectiveness of individual aspects of the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) program by showing quantitatively the impact of failures and PPM. Participates in plant health study and efforts to implement corrective action to maintain or improve plant health.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead the migration of Inspections and Data from Capstone into APM GE, 4.4. GMISS transition for fixed equipment

Manage use of APM and provide support to DuPont SIG in APM

Manage creation of time-based inspection PM’s in into SAP

Review current inspection workload over the next few years and redistribute to achieve a more manageable TAR workload

Review the inspection plans and timing as they exist

Review inspection reports and update inspection plans based on findings

Review non-conformance recommendations (NCR’s)

Review newly registered equipment (flex hoses, sight glasses, tank). Update APM as needed.

Review management of PSV

Leads the PM Optimization for equipment inspections and tests based on the Asset Criticality.

Determine and implement best way to manage the lubrication & vibration routes and data

Participate in MIQA networks and PSM activities focused on MIQA, and share best practices, successes and failures.

Understands the DuPont GMISS /BPCS / SIS standards to ensure they align with the requirements of PSM for PSM Critical equipment as specified by DuPont.

Review the maintenance and reliability documentation, procedures and drawings and develop a plan to create or work and have them transferred to 

Capabilities Required for this Role (Knowledge Skills & Abilities):

 

Able to navigate and extract data from SAP-PM (or the specific CMMS used)

Ability to plan, prioritize and implement multiple concurrent projects.

Good Communication and Presentation Skills (both oral and written)

Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills

Proven strong contributor with the capability to work independently

Good personal computer and software skills in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel®

Basic understanding of the principles of:

Predictive Preventative Maintenance (PPM) data in Computerized Maintenance Management System maintenance information systems (e.g. CMMS, SAP)

 

Maintenance Work Management Process including work identification, planning, scheduling, accomplishment, work documentation, maintenance materials management

 

PPM, basic equipment reliability, contract maintenance and maintenance training

 

Reliability Engineering Principles (ex. Statistical analysis, reliability modeling)

 

Process Safety Management (PSM) process particularly Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance Spare parts identification process - critical spare, slow moving, etc. and the understanding of the ABC categories

 

Rotating equipment and alignment techniques

 

Materials Science and physical failure analysis

 

Instrumentation and process control

 

Predictive techniques for fixed and rotating equipment and instrumentation such as: Vibration Analysis, Tribology, Non-Destructive Testing, Thermography, etc.

 

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and how to lead RCA teams

 

Industry and Corporate Engineering codes and their application

 

Qualifications:

 

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument)

 

• 3-8 years of maintenance/reliability work experience required

 

• Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process) experience preferred
