    Job Summary:
    Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for receptionist related duties such as answering incoming calls, directing and screening calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as additional administrative support duties.
    Duties:
     
  • Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls to appropriate department
  • Organize and maintain office common areas
  • Copy customer ticket when requested
  • Coordinate company events, golf tournaments, company picnic. Coordinate catering for various events
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Manages office supply inventories and processes orders
  • Provide a wide variety of administrative support to the senior management team
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail including inter-office mail, incoming faxes
  • Coordinates the repair and service of office building equipment such as HVAC system, fax machines and copy machine
  • Perform special projects when needed. Other duties may be assigned

Education: High school or equivalent education

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years in a professional office setting as a front office/administrative assistant
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Advanced MS Excel skills preferred.
  • Possess good organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Completes work accurately and efficiently
  • Strong Customer Service skills (phone, email, in person)
  • Pleasant phone voice, excellent phone etiquette
  • Be dependable and punctual
  • Responds to management direction and completes projects on time
  • Self-starter and can work well with limited supervision. Demonstrate ability to take initiative


Preferred:

Experience with SAP a plus

Hours:Position is Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Conditions of Employment:

Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
