Position starting pay: $18. 00 per hour
You must be available to work a FLEXIBLE schedule - your work times will change daily based on flight arrival and departure times
The Cargo Ramp Agent -performs manual duties related to the handling, receiving, loading, and delivery of all cargo/mail in our warehouses.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Performs various aspects of ramp service functions including transferring and loading of cargo,
- Loads and unloads cargo/mail on and off aircraft.
- Safely operates motorized vehicle (i.e. Tug) to pick-up and deliver cargo/mail between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft.
- Sorts and loads mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room.
- Performs ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units,
- Performs aircraft pushout/two and related guide man functions.
- Cleans the exterior of aircraft and performs routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities.
- May be assigned routine automotive repair and servicing and cleaning of powered and unpowered equipment.
- Remains cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

Required Skills

- Can work a flexible schedule
- Understands that the work schedule is based on flight departure and arrival times
Required Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance
