Radio Station Coordinator Internship

Radio Station Coordinator plays an essential role in the maintenance of the digital radio station and is also responsible for fostering relationships with commercial vendors.

Essential Duties:

• Overseeing the radio operations and functionality.
• Developing meaningful connections and engagement across the music industry and with advertising firms.
• Research, monitoring and reporting current social media trends and adapting it to the consumer engagement process.

Abilities and Qualifications:

• Excellent writing skills (in the English language) for concise relationship development and engagement.
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, follow procedures and adhere to due dates and established turn-around times with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and appreciation for quality and the implications to company reputation and branding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing; positive customer service experience.
• Prioritize needs of self, others and organization, contribute to an enjoyable and supportive work atmosphere.
• A basic understanding of content development and engagement strategies.
• A degree or studying in the field(s) of communication, journalism, human relations, business, marketing, or other equivalent majors.

Hours:

• The position will work up to 15 hours per week.
• The position is 100% voluntary and meant as an internship to help college students or new graduates obtain experience in high demand fields.
