Position Summary

The Project Manager – Shared Services is responsible for driving cross-functional parties, vendors, and contractors to implement key business programs.  This position consistently demonstrates an ability to work collaboratively with others, influence outcomes, and drive consensus.
 

This position is located at our corporate office in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of business projects identified and approved by senior management set forth by VP, Shared Services
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and with expected results
  • Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, costs (Change Management Process)
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as necessary
  • Perform risk management/mitigation process to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related field is required
  • 5 years of project management experience utilizing formal project management methodology is required
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Strong influence, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands
  • Ability to identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner
