Company Description:

The Silvermark Story

While the origin of Silvermark dates back to 1981 when the founder, Gregory S. Owen, established a heating and air conditioning business, the idea for the company took root earlier when a boy who gravitated towards LEGOs, tinker toys and log cabins and built treehouses from anything he could forage, had a dream of owning his own company and creating things. The dream came true and the original company he founded evolved, grew and changed a number of times over the years, adapting to market demands and the economic environment. Predicting emerging needs over the years, the founder ventured into producing new homes, rehabbing distressed properties and creating assisted living communities, all with the intention of improving neighborhoods and communities.

His objective from the outset was to challenge some of the conventional building practices by bringing new concepts and the latest technology available into the building process. His ability to streamline projects by accomplishing all critical path items simultaneously without compromising on quality in lieu more common linear practices, positioned Silvermark as the “go-to” builder and enables Silvermark to assist in re-builds for communities like Santa Rosa.

Each Silvermark team member has been selected because they share their founder’s passion for quality, craftsmanship and design. Silvermark partners with some of the finest companies in the North Bay to ensure the homes they build are well-crafted, innovative, functional, safe and comfortable. Silvermark is large enough to harness purchasing power with subcontractors and vendors but small enough to give each home buyer personal attention to every detail.

Silvermark happily works with the realtor community to ensure every customer finds the perfect home.
