We have partnered with a large food manufacturing company in the Vernon, CA area to provide them with a Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:
Maintains daily workflow and operations by monitoring steps of the process and directing line personnel to fulfill appropriate tasks
Manages production staff to ensure that procedures are being followed and production goals are being achieved
Follows and enforces food safety requirements while achieving production goals quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ensures operation of equipment by monitoring production and calling for repairs or adjustments when necessary
Ensures that production results are being recorded
Maintains safe and clean work environment by managing personnel and ensuring training on the use of all equipment and resources maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
Reviews manufacturing processes for efficiency, noting problem areas for improvement
Requirements of the Production Supervisor:
HS Diploma/GED REQUIRED--Associates or better preferred
5+ years experience in food manufacturing
3 years experience as a supervisor or managing a team in a manufacturing environment
Familiar with scanning, MRP, and record reconciliation
Great communication skills
Able to work in a cold environment
Bi-Lingual--Spanish/English preferred
