Production Supervisor

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

• Accomplishes manufacturing staff by communicating job expectations, planning and monitoring as well as appraising results
• Maintains staff by hiring, firing, and developing employees
• Responsible for workflow management and processes
• Completes and coordinates production plans, monitors progress, schedules appropriate personnel, and reports results
• Maintains operation of equipment by scheduling repairs or determining if there is a need for new equipment or processes
• Analyze production performance data and records
• Resolves any personnel problems by investigating issues and identifying solutions

Requirements of the Production Supervisor:

• HS Diploma or GED REQUIRED--Associates Degree or better preferred
• 5+ years working in a food manufacturing or food processing company
• 3+ years experience supervising personnel
• Ability to train, motivate and supervise personnel in a consistent manner
• Great problem solving and communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish is preferred but not required
