Production Supervisor

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Ensuring that objectives are met in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity

• Assign and track individual orders from production to shipment
• Train and direct production workers in daily order requirements
• Participate in coaching, counseling and discipline of Union and Temporary employees
• Able to stand, walk entire shift. Occasional bending and light lifting required

Other requirements:

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision
• Must be flexible with shift hours of work, i.e. overtime, and holidays (when necessary)
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Occasional travel between facilities
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen that includes a nicotine test
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
• Lean 5S Experience Preferred
• Lead and participate in weekly/daily meetings

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

AS400 helpful, but not required

Kronos timekeeping helpful, but not required
